Meet us at SQA Delft 2025! The academic conference will bring experts and novices from industry and academia to Delft, to discuss advances in the field of superconducting qubits and algorithms.
Follow the conference for free through a high quality Live Stream on the SQA YouTube channel.
As proud co-organizers of the 2025 edition, OrangeQS included activities that support the community. We hope that next to the amazing talks, these activities stimulate the conference attendees to connect and learn from each other.

Live qubit demos | OrangeQS Booth | Every day upon request
Have a sneak peek at OrangeQS Juice, running on live qubits.
“Ask Me Anything” session | Theater De Veste | Mon 25 Aug, 18:00
Prof. David DiVincenzo, dr. Alessandro Bruno, prof. Frank Wilhelm-Mauch and dr. Anne-Marije Zwerver are on stage for all (quantum-related) questions about the history and future of the field.
OrangeQS Lab 1 visit | House of Quantum | Tue 26 Aug, 18:00
During the Excursions, you can choose to visit Delft city center, QuTech or the quantum companies in Delft.
OrangeQS Juice & Quantify workshop | Pathé Delft | Wed 27 Aug, 13:30
OrangeQS Juice, an operating system to operate quantum R&D labs, was revealed during the APS March Meeting 2025. While beta testing with AQT at Berkeley, Chalmers Next Labs and QuTech, now is the time for a first glimpse of the open-source OS!
SQA Conference dinner | Nieuwe Kerk | Wed 27 Aug, 19:00
The traditional SQA conference dinner is included in your SQA ticket. This year it will be a walking dinner in the Nieuwe Kerk in Delft, which we jointly support with IQM. Catch up with your colleagues in the field, while exploring this historic location.
Scientific session on scaling superconducting quantum devices | Theater De Veste| Thu 28 Aug, 16:00
Dr. Thorsten Last brings together talks by the quantum value chain in a session on scaling challenges for quantum chips. Talks are by Johannes Heinsoo (IQM), Nicolas Didier (Alice & Bob), Andrew Bestwick (Rigetti Computing), Kent Shirer (Zurich Instruments) and Yuval Baum (Q-CTRL)
SQA closing party | Koperen Kat | Thu 28 Aug, 19:00
Join Qblox, QuantWare, Delft Circuits and OrangeQS in celebrating the SQA conference and growing community. In this first edition of an SQA closing party, each local Delft company will send a DJ on their team to the Koperen Kat, a brewery at the Cable District in Delft.
Check out the full SQA schedule and SQA Conference Guide to find information about talks, side events and supporters. SQA is a not-for-profit scientific conference with a focus on science, technology, and algorithms relevant for superconducting quantum computers. It is organized by QuTech, OrangeQS, and IQM in cooperation with the scientific community. Our goal is to make this the leading event in its field.
