At the start of the week, we had the pleasure of facilitating a meetup with the AdAstra consortium. It was an informative and productive meeting, and it was great to meet everyone in person. We would like to thank all partners for the pleasant and constructive collaboration.
About the meeting
Last Monday and Tuesday, OrangeQS hosted an AdAstra consortium meeting at our office in Delft. Members of from IQM and Silent Waves and representatives of Quantum Delta NL joined us to discuss the current project status, including key results and mitigation strategies. The programme also included reflections on the collaboration, partner update presentations on new product developments relevant to the project, and a lab tour. During the lab tour, we demonstrated the TWPA measurement setup and the open-source OrangeQS Juice operating system.
About AdAstra
AdAstra brings together quantum companies from the Netherlands, Germany and France to jointly develop a new chip architecture for quantum computers built in Europe. The consortium was formed in response to the trilateral call by Germany, France and the Netherlands for high impact projects in quantum computing, communication and sensing. Within this framework, IQM, Silent Waves, Institut Néel (CNRS) and OrangeQS are developing and testing a new star topology quantum chip aimed at accelerated error correction. IQM Quantum Computers is producing the chip, Silent Waves is supplying the Travelling Wave Parametric Amplifiers, and OrangeQS is providing the quantum chip test infrastructure.
