Together with QuantaMap, OrangeQS has successfully wrapped up DeteQT, a joint MIT R&D collaboration aimed at developing a common platform for quantum chip diagnostics.

Last week, the final DeteQT session was hosted at the QuantaMap lab in the Leiden House of Quantum. During this session, the project results were presented to representatives from InnovationQuarter and the Province of South Holland (PZH).
Combining Complementary Diagnostics Capabilities
During the session, it was demonstrated how customers can combine insights from the complementary quantum chip diagnostics solutions of QuantaMap and OrangeQS. The collaboration focused on two key building blocks:
- Advanced data analysis methods that extract the most relevant chip key performance indicators from large diagnostic data sets
- A shared database architecture that enables these KPIs to be combined and analyzed in a unified way
Together, these elements provide a more comprehensive and actionable view of quantum chip performance.
Laying the Foundation for Scalable Chip Testing
The results of the DeteQT project lay the foundation for a diagnostics architecture that addresses one of the critical bottlenecks in quantum chip development: scalable and reliable testing.
The collaboration will continue with the goal of building an integrated platform that empowers quantum chip producers to collect diverse metrology and diagnostic data, accelerate development timelines, and enable precise quality tracking throughout the chip lifecycle.
Ultimately, a comprehensive diagnostic picture is essential to unlocking the full potential of the quantum industry.
